1. In a medium bowl combine all the ingredients except the lettuce and/or sliced onion and mix well. Form into 4 small burgers and refrigerate until ready to cook.
2. Grill, broil, or pan-fry the burgers until firm and browned, and no longer pink on the inside, 3 to 4 minutes per side.
3. Transfer the cooked burgers to the lettuce leaves or on top of the onions and serve.
